The Dark Riders have freed Cyber and prepare him for the Clan Akkaba. Wolverine agrees to a training session with Generation X- but will he be able to wrangle in these powerful teenage mutants? Jubilee and Wolverine reunited at last!

Cyber, freed by the Dark Riders, is brought to the headquarters of the Dark Riders in Mid-Egypt. Meanwhile Wolverine returns to Xavier's School. He is willing to train the young X-Men for a while. But while training he suddenly orders them to back off. Nobody knows what is going on but they do as they are said. Even after a full scan of the area there is no sign of an anomaly. One night Jubilee and Skin follow Wolverine to the training area. They watch as he is fighting a forest spirit. Wolverine comes unharmed out of the battle because he was seen as something as a spirit of a forest.
